The first of the G3 2017 series for 3 Mondays in September, we are highlighting speakers to the G3 Women’s Conference held every November in beautiful Sonoma, California.  Our goal is to meet you there so you can meet all of them in person, but if you can’t make it, you will learn all about these beautiful women, what they are up to, and how you can connect with them on their websites and social media.  (Hint:  You can get a discount code to your ticket by using G3Lauri at checkout! G3Sonoma.com) Today features Makeda Pennycooke (yes, that is her real name!  Named after an Ethiopian Queen I dare say!) who focuses on coaching women passed their fears and into their greatness, Meredith Masony who is a blogger, you-tuber, and author about all things “Inappropriate” and that people might not dare to say or talk about – she’s saying them at thatsinappropriate.com, and yours truly where I give you some more insight into LLS and what I’ll be focusing on at the G3 2017 conference.

Mindset and Empowerment Coach, Makeda Pennycooke is a sought-after speaker, teacher, writer and workshop facilitator with over two decades of experience in leadership and personal development.

After navigating multiple, major life and career changes, including leaving an organization she had helped start, she firmly believes fear is temporary but regret is permanent. She uses the lessons she’s learned to support women who are facing a crossroads in their life, find their brave, regret-proof their life, and rise into their personal greatness.

Makeda inspires listeners with her laid-back style and warm, engaging personality. She connects easily with her audience and delivers practical and valuable takeaways in a lighthearted, fun, and memorable way.

She is consistently told people feel safe with her and she considers it an honor to hold space for her clients and audiences.  She envisions a world where women know they matter, believe they are enough, and embrace the power and courage they ALREADY possess to radically transform their lives.

She believes chocolate makes everything better, and life should be filled with moments that make your heart sing. She loves the ocean, sun-kissed days, and a good cup of steaming hot tea (always tea, never coffee). She currently resides in Charlotte, NC but harbors a secret wish to live in Sydney, Australia.

Meredith Masony is a Mom. She had babies, not a lobotomy. She is here to tell stories about her life, her family, her struggles, and her joy. Meredith tries to find the humor in all things. She is on a quest to obtain her dreams. She wants to become the best version of herself. She wants to be happy in both her professional and personal life. She wants to share her voice, her stories, her humor, her tale.

Her blog covers topics that range from being a wife to mother to entrepreneur, as well as socially trending topics. She writes about raw real life.  Her readers are women who know that real life is dirty and exhausting but shows that we can find joy despite the monotony of the daily grind. Her readers come to her because she will say it, so they don’t have to.

Meredith has been working towards creating a community of “Real Moms” who talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly side of parenting. She is looking to work with companies who can take her blog and YouTube channel to the next level.
